2001 FALL KIDS TRIP Year 2001! Wow how time flies as the kids get older. We started this annual trip a few years ago and we continue to grow with a new family added each year. This year our new neighbors from Georgia came along for their "first ever" backpacking trip. They loved it and did just great. For all the kids, it's an absolute blast and the dads get to relax a bit. We usually end up doing all work except for getting the firewood. Boys like saws! We let them cut as much wood as they want, as long as it's dead. This year's trip was a litle colder than normal. The temperature got down below freezing, but we all managed.
