Can you see it? The rabbit? It blends in so well with the trail, I almost missed it and could have stepped on it. He didn't even budge until I got right up on him. I saw a couple of these throughout the weekend. They don't really seem to mind people at all. They just get out of the way, and even then... it's not too far out of the way. If it would have been a snake... It' would have bit me! I did see a Timber Rattler the next morning after this... I got chills knowing I could actually get bitten by one on the trail. IT was not huge... but it was very intimidating.
