Home for the night! A little to comfy for me... I'm not use to this "car camping" stuff. I prefer the backkpacking route. But for being able to checkout more terrain, it will have to do. The weather was nice, even though it was the middle of June, it got down to about 60 at night. It was a little foggy at the time I took this picture and it rained shortly there after. I had a nice bowl of beef stew, bread and butter and then off to bed at about 8:00. After 5 hours of driving, 13 miles of hiking in the heat... I was beat and ready to rest my nappy head. I ended up sleeping in the truck. I was up the next morning by 5:30 am and on the road to find more trails.
