| To look a this from this angle, doesn't
do it justice. This is a talus field of rocks on top of a mountian. It was
awesome to actually stand on this field of crumpled rock atop a mountain that
is full of trees. The rock sizes ranged from a giant boulder to the size of a
computer monitor(oh my gosh... and I thought I let the computer stuff at
home). The Talus field went down the side of the mountain about 200 feet.
It looked like someone backed up a Giant Tonka truck and dumped Giant pieces of
gravel down the side of the mountain. I hate that I didn't get a picture down
the side, but if you look at the mountain in the top left corner of the
picture... you can get an idea of what it looks like from far away. That
mountain is about 6 miles from here. |
